Langtang is the trek that rewards the solo trekker for going independent. Less infrastructure than Annapurna, smaller groups at the teahouses, and a Tamang culture that feels far removed from the tourist circuit. The valley above Langtang village opens into glacier-fed bowls that most people never reach.
